Product Description
Plaintiffs alleged in publicly filed U.S. asbestos personal-injury and wrongful-death litigation that the Fuller-Kinyon Pump — the screw-type pneumatic conveying pump manufactured by Fuller Company and used across U.S. cement plants to move raw meal, kiln feed, and finish cement — allegedly incorporated asbestos rope and asbestos-braid packing at the drive-end shaft seal, and asbestos-fabric flange gaskets at the discharge cone.
According to publicly filed asbestos litigation records, the pump packings allegedly had to be cut to length, repacked, and gland-adjusted at routine intervals; the discharge gaskets allegedly required scraping and replacement during raw-meal line rebuilds.
