Carboline Company (founded 1947, headquartered in St. Louis MO; subsidiary of RPM International) manufactured asbestos-bearing plaster, wall compounds, spray-applied fireproofing coatings, and protective industrial coatings through the asbestos era. Carboline products were installed across U.S. commercial, industrial, and institutional construction projects.
Carboline has been named in publicly filed OBLF Missouri asbestos petitions as a Take-Home Exposure defendant (Exhibit B classification) and as a Product Manufacturer defendant (Exhibit A) — alleged to have manufactured asbestos-containing plaster and wall compounds installed at residential and commercial premises encountered by plaintiffs.
