Product Description
Bliss Industries hammer mills competed with Sprout-Waldron and other builders for U.S. commercial feed milling business. According to publicly filed asbestos litigation records, main-drive belts and clutch friction facings allegedly incorporated woven asbestos textile reinforcement to handle heavy shock loads and high grinding-chamber temperatures. Servicing these belts and friction components allegedly released respirable asbestos fibers into the mill’s already dust-laden environment.
